Excell Services, Inc. Closes Acquisition of Downhole Wireline Specialists, LLC & Back Off Services

Excell Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of J-W Operating Company, announces the acquisition of Downhole Wireline Specialists, LLC and Back Off Services effective September 1, 2006.

Downhole Wireline Specialists LLC serves the cased hole and pipe recovery market with a fleet of fifteen (15) cased hole trucks located at offices in Oklahoma City, Woodward, Lindsay, McAlester and Terrell, TX.  "We tend to specialize in deep, high pressure wireline and back-off service work and we have recently added staff for work in the shallower markets in Oklahoma.  With this acquisition we are combining the skill, expertise and local knowledge of our staff with a company that has the vision and commitment to provide financial resources and equipment necessary to allow us to successfully compete with any service provider in Oklahoma. We anticipate oil and gas operators that have never used our services will be impressed with the quality of our work." stated Downhole Wireline Specialists operations manager and founder Ron Casey.

Excell Services, Inc. has a growing fleet of cased hole wireline trucks that operate in the Rocky Mountain region, Ark-La-Tex area, and now the mid-continent Area.  "We are very excited to add Downhole to our growing list of wireline providers.  Excell currently provides quality wireline services in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, Utah and now Oklahoma. We plan to add service lines that will include pipe inspection and production logging to complement services already provided by Downhole. Expansion of our pipe recovery services into new service areas will be a priority and we hope to open our Van Buren, Arkansas facility to service Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma this month" stated Andy Weaver, President of Excell Services, Inc.
