J-W Energy Company Announces New Facility Opening near Williamsport, PA

Posted: May 3, 2011

J-W Energy Company has officially broken ground on a new multi-million dollar office and service facility located in Muncy Creek, PA to serve the Northeast region of the Marcellus Shale.

The building is located on 10 acres of undeveloped land in Muncy Creek, PA which is just east of Williamsport, PA and located conveniently near Interstate 180. The property will be shared by all three of J-W Energy Company's major service companies: J-W Power Company, J-W Measurement Company and J-W Wireline Company.

When complete the property will have two major buildings totaling over 30,000 square feet of space dedicated to personnel offices and shop space. The measurement and compression service companies will share one building while the cased-hole wireline specialists will be housed in a separate shop space.

"This state-of-the-art facility will allow all of the J-W service companies to not only supply the northeast region of the Marcellus Shale but will have enough space to perform light manufacturing and to grow to the potential of this exciting area." commented Ryan English, Area Manager for J-W Measurement Company.

The move in date for the office is preliminarily scheduled for October 1, 2011 with a grand opening being planned for shortly thereafter.

The building is being constructed by Pinion Construction based in Oklahoma City, OK.

J-W Energy Company is an Energy Services and Energy Development company comprised of six (6) distinct business units that specializes in natural gas compression, gas measurement, gas gathering and processing, cased-hole wireline services, exploration & production and oilfield equipment manufacturing.
