J-W Operating Company is pleased to announce the consolidation of the manufacturing divisions of J-W Power Company, J-W Measurement Company and J-W Wireline Company into an entity to be known as J-W Manufacturing Company.

“This is a landmark change at J-W that will greatly benefit our customers.  We have been a manufacturer of specialized oilfield equipment for over twenty years and this consolidation will create synergies that we would not be able to realize otherwise and thus provide savings that will be passed directly on to our customers,” commented Gene Gradick, President, J-W Operating Company.

The manufacturing facilities located in Bristow, OK; Casper, WY; Farmington, NM; Sherman, TX; Kilgore, TX; and Longview, TX specialize in manufacturing natural gas compression packages, gas measurement packages, measurement buildings, wireline trucks, and other ancillary oilfield equipment.

Paul N. Stephenson, an Engineering graduate of Lincoln Technical College in Lincoln, England, has been appointed the position of President of J-W Manufacturing Company.  Stephenson will assume all responsibility for the manufacturing division and will immediately form an integration team to make the transition as seamless as possible.

“Paul is the perfect choice for this new position.  He is our most experienced manufacturing manager and has consistently demonstrated his leadership and management abilities in his many years of service at J-W.  Under Paul’s guidance I believe that this transition will be transparent to our existing customers and that we will become progressively more efficient while not sacrificing the safety, service, reliability and quality that our customers have come to expect,” stated Don G. Bizzell, President, J-W Power Company.

Mr. Stephenson has become familiar with all facets of oil field equipment manufacturing during his tenure of 27 years with J-W Power Company.  In that time, J-W Power Company has become an industry leader in compressor package design, quality, dependability and innovation while manufacturing nearly 4,000 compressor packages ranging in size from 10 to 4,000 horsepower.
