J-W Operating Company is proud to announce that, for the 3rd year in a row, it has made the list in The Dallas Morning News D-FW Top 200, annual survey of Dallas-Fort Worth Businesses. J-W Operating Company is ranked as the 36th largest private company in Dallas-Fort Worth in 2005. The company was also ranked 36th in 2004 and 43rd in 2003. (J-W Operating Company's revenues have grown significantly since last year's ranking, however due to the privatization of large public firms in the area, remained at 36.) In addition, J-W Operating Company was ranked 19th among the largest energy companies headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, up from 22nd last year.
The rankings are published annually in a May special edition of The Dallas Morning News. The publication ranks companies that are headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex based on the previous years revenue and business category. Other categories include largest publicly-traded company, largest employer, largest hospitals, largest auto dealerships, largest financial institutions, largest retailers and largest energy companies.
