J-W Wireline Company announces the acquisition of the business, assets and personnel of Meeks Wireline Services, Inc. for an undisclosed amount of cash. Meeks Wireline Services is a premier independent cased-hole wireline company servicing the Appalachian Basin.

Meeks Wireline Services has eleven (11) trucks operating out of two bases in Weston, WV and in Hager Hill, KY.  The company is headquartered in Dunbar, WV.  The company has approximately fifty (50) employees that are all now a part of the J-W Wireline Company team.

Strategic plans for providing wireline services covering all of the basin are underway.  Announcements for new base of operations will be made in the upcoming months.  J-W Wireline Company will be hosting an open house at its newly constructed facility in Weston, WV this fall.  All customers, suppliers and friends are invited to attend.
